Private by default

Passwords, hashes, tokens, JSON, QR codes and editor code are processed in your browser and never uploaded.

HTTP, DNS and TLS checks run on an edge network, so you see what the public internet sees — from the US, Europe or Asia.

Instant and free

No account, trial, watermark or “sign up to continue” modal. Pages are tiny and load fast on any connection.

Are TechWeirdo Tools really free?

Yes. Every tool is free to use with no account, no trial, no watermark and no usage paywall.

Is my data uploaded to a server?

Not for local tools. Hashing, bcrypt, JWT decoding, passwords, UUIDs, hex, JSON, Base64, URL, timestamps, tables, QR codes and the code playground run entirely in your browser. Only the HTTP, DNS and Port & TLS tools send the request you start to our edge network, and What’s My IP queries public IP services. Details are on the privacy page.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The tools run in any modern browser on desktop or mobile. You can install the site as an app from your browser menu if you want a shortcut.

Which regions do the network tools run from?

HTTP and DNS checks can run from the nearest edge location or be pinned to the United States, Europe or Asia. Port and TLS checks run on the global edge.
